We describe our hand-made artisanal products as natural and organic because of the ingredients we formulate with, and they are never tested on animals. Many ingredients are naturally vegan (like shea butter), but not every product is vegan — if you would like a vegan formula, we are happy to work with you. We are not certified organic, vegan, halal, kosher or any other certification.

As we continually improve our products and personalize formulas with additives for individual clients, for the most accurate ingredient listing, always refer to the product packaging on the containers your products are shipped in.
Preservatives: Our water-based adult formulas are preserved with Phenoxyethanol (and) Ethylhexylglycerin, a broad-spectrum, paraben-free and formaldehyde-free preservative. Our TenderRoots™ children's line uses Benzyl Alcohol (and) Dehydroacetic Acid, a broad-spectrum preservative system accepted under Whole Foods Market's body care standards. Water-free products (oils, butters, balms and powders) don't need a preservative.
Do not use if allergic to any ingredient. Always do a patch test before using. For use under responsible adult supervision. Avoid getting into eyes. Shelf Life = 1 Year (unless otherwise noted).
